ABOUT

Haley Wilensky

Haley’s dedication to Pelvic Floor Therapy stems from a passion for helping clients to do what they love despite injuries or setbacks. In 2013, after spending 6 years as a Director of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics, Haley became one of very few Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists in Atlanta. She and a colleague opened the first clinic for one of the largest outpatient orthopedic physical therapy companies in the state. Haley became certified in Manual Trigger Point Dry Needling in 2013, and combines this technique with other expert manual techniques to support patient recovery. She received advanced pelvic floor training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute.

Haley’s career began in 2004 at Emory Hospital Midtown after earning a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. Following 3 years of invaluable hospital experience, Haley was hired as a Clinic Director for OrthoSport Physical Therapy. For 3 years she applied her professional and business expertise to grow the practice exponentially. Eventually her success led to an offer by Physiotherapy Associates to direct their Midtown Clinic where she proceeded to win awards as one of their top producing clinics in the state. It was during this time that Haley found her purpose as a therapist. Due to her own personal experiences with a dysfunctional pelvic floor, Haley has dedicated herself to helping others with similar challenges.

With a strong orthopedic background and advanced training in many manual therapies including Dry Needling, Haley employs a holistic approach with each patient. She listens to her clients thoughtfully, and treats the body and the person as a whole.

In her practice, Haley has the opportunity to combine her knowledge of the different body systems and the clinical reasoning gained through treating patients of diverse ages and dysfunctions. She provides both internal and external manual therapy, and uses biofeedback if indicated. She treats both men and women, pre- and post-natal patients, patients with sexual dysfunction, bowel or bladder incontinence, colorectal conditions affecting the pelvic floor, as well as patients with chronic pain. She personally understands what her patients are going through and feels it is her calling to pay it forward by helping them improve their conditions and everyday life. Through her holistic approach she is able to guide each patient toward achieving their individual goals.

Haley currently lives in Atlanta and she enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, and getting out to the lake or beach with friends and family whenever possible.
